I haven't posted a new piece from my Memento project in about a week or so, and I figured Friday would be the best day to do it. SOOOO, from now on, every Friday I will be posting a new piece from this project as I have been a little absent minded with the rad person of the day on Mondays, which will begin again this coming week. Anyway, the above piece is from one of the many ghostbusters action figures that I kept as a kid. I've always been obsessed with monsters, zombies, ghosts and anything fantasy related. I mean, I have the Monster Squad logo tattooed to my chest. There is this constant fascination with the unknown and the incredible that will always be with me. I love this figure and a few other I have already photographed because they transformed. As a little all you want is to be able to transform into something completely different. Police officer - skeleton ghost? Works for me. Hope you love these as much as I do.

Recently, I had to do a presentation in my History Of Photography class at this community college that I attend. It's near Ann Arbor in Michigan, and I just started going there.
We had to compare one older artist to a new or contemporary artist and distinguish their works in class and compare them.
I chose some of your photos and used you in the presentation and compared you to Stephen Shore. I wasn't sure if this was a good presentation knowing that my teacher judge it as me presenting both "two contemporary artist, and one not being over the 1940s era."
So without knowing of what kind of grade I'll be receiving, I did it anyway.
After class, and being interrupted by a brief comment my instructor said, I left early and while I was leaving, two young students stopped me and told me how they really felt about the presentation and they liked both artist for which the works I showed them in class.
This comment and story is taking too long to wrap up, but just wanted to give you a brief heads up on what others feel about your work. The students who stopped me were attractive gay men, and I mentioned that you did a lot of nude photography as well as portrait work. They really seemed cool about it.
Keep up with your work! It's inspiring beyond words!
